Explain that the property will host short term guests. Ask the insurer to confirm which risks, periods and activities are covered and which are excluded.
Separate platform protection
Airbnb describes Host damage protection separately from Host liability insurance. Eligibility, limits and claim conditions differ; do not describe them as one general insurance policy.
Agree incident reporting
Clarify how an incident is documented, who contacts the provider and which time limits apply. Keep an inventory and relevant invoices to support accurate records.
Scope and costs to confirm
